Chris MM Gordon
CEO, Irish Social Enterprise Network
Chris MM Gordon is the CEO of the Irish Social Enterprise Network (SocEnt.ie) and facilitator for the BCorp Community in Ireland. Chris is also Managing Partner of Collaboration Ireland and Adjunct Teaching Fellow of Trinity Business School. Chris also volunteers as Chair of Far and Wild social enterprise and is Vice President of the Irish US Alumni Association.
The Irish Social Enterprise Network is a National Body for Social Enterprise in Ireland since 2013. SocEnt.ie runs the BuySocial.ie directory of social enterprises and the National Social Enterprise Helpline amongst other initiatives. Chris is the author of the SocialEnterpriseToolkit.ie. Chris was appointed to the National Social Enterprise Policy Implementation Group hosted by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Chris’ work focuses on leading and managing European and nationwide projects on social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, corporate responsibility, social impact, start-ups, cooperatives, exporting, SMEs in Ireland and leading a life of passion and purpose.
Chris has a degree in Theoretical Physics from Queen’s University Belfast, a Masters in Business from the University of Ulster and has qualifications from the Institute of Banking, LIA and UCD.
